The Benchmarking Project’s data on current state bicycle and pedestrian planning and state traffic laws that promote bicyclist and pedestrian safety have been updated.
Under Plans and Policies, updated data and maps are available for:
- Statewide Bicycle and Pedestrian Plans
- State Complete Street Laws, Policies, and other actions
- State Strategic Highway Safety Plans – highlighting approaches to bicycle and pedestrian safety
Under Traffic Laws, updated data and maps are available for:
- Safe Passing of bicyclists
- Where and How to ride a bicycle on a sidewalk
- Whether a driver must Stop for a person walking in a marked crosswalk
- Whether a driver must Stop for a person walking in a unmarked crosswalk
- Whether photo enforcement is allowed or restricted
